WELCOME TO GLENFALL MASSAGE

Abi offers a range of quality relaxation and sports massage treatments.

All treatments are tailored to the needs of each individual client – there are no set beauty routines.  A consultation is done before your first appointment. Some massages can be performed through clothes.

Please keep reading below to find out what styles of massage I offer.  Further information and prices can be found on the Treatments page.

Types of Massage

Relaxation Massage – recommended for relaxation and rebalancing.  This holistic style of massage uses flowing and repetitive strokes to calm both the body and the mind.

Thai Yoga Stretch Massage (a clothed treatment) – beneficial for people who are active, stand a lot or have lower back pain and stiffness.  A particularly  effective massage for cyclists and runners who have tight legs and glutes!  A relaxing, lengthening and tension melting treatment that uses deep stretching and rhythmic movements in multiple directions to rebalance the body.

Sports Massage – a faster, targeted and more invigorating type of massage which focuses on certain areas of tension or discomfort in the body.  I often use movement with massage in this treatment so it is unlikely you will be able to doze off during the session.

Soft Tissue Therapy – suitable for anyone, you do not need to be “sporty” to have Soft Tissue Therapy.  This is an effective treatment for musculoskeletal pain, injuries, stiffness or to prevent future injuries.  A thorough assessment before the treatment looks for the root cause of an issue.  Targeted massage and stretching aims to restore balance and optimal function to the body reducing pain and improving range of movement.

Deep Tissue Massage – recommended for people who have a lot of muscular tension and would also like a relaxing treatment.

Indian Head Massage (a clothed treatment) – suitable if you feel stressed, have regular headaches or a tight neck.  This “ultimate stress buster” massage focuses on the shoulders, neck and head.  You can request a relaxing or invigorating massage dependent on how you feel.
